Launch of OPED GmbH by Haßler and Habermeyer, aiming to replace plaster casts with innovative orthopedic solutions and laying the foundation for VACOped.
1992
Founded in Valley (Germany)
Founding of OPED AG as the international holding company.

Establishment of the Group structure (Switzerland)
The launch of our activities in the US marks the next step in our international expansion.

Expansion into North America (USA)
VACOped is listed in the German Medical Aids Directory – a decisive milestone and the starting point for sustainable growth.
